Amazon, Where Unknown Plants Are Found

GNS is headed to the Amazon rainforest in search of unknown plants. Its enormous diversity in vegetation is strongly influenced by its geographical location and climate. We have discovered potential of its rare and mysterious plants that have not yet been known. We are currently in the making of finding our unique solutions in search for plants that can be beneficial to the skin.

Ancient Greek and Rome Pharmaceuticals That Are Thousands of Years Old

‘Theriac’ played a significant role in the Western history of pharmaceuticals. Galen, an ancient Greek physician, studied about ‘theriac’ which is known to have been used for curing and preventing diseases of all people. Inspired by the ancient Greek and Roman pharmaceuticals that have been time-tested for thousands of years, we have completed our own with ingredients unique to GNS.

Solutions Found in the Nature, Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh (RBGE)

We do not hesitate to explore new learnings about the nature. Under the common goal of ensuring plant conservation and biodiversity, GNS employs RBGE’s unique DNA barcoding technology to discover plants that have beneficial properties. Based on our endless efforts to conduct research and studies, we have had our pure medical herbs certified. GNS continues to engage in joint research to deliver values of beneficial plants to the world.

Nepal, Full of Mysterious Medicinal Herbs

Herbs from the Himalayan Mountains and alpine areas at altitudes of over 8,000m are known to feed hundreds of thousands of residents there. Nepal, which has inherited Ayurveda, a traditional medicine with a history of more than 3,000 years, is full of medicinal herbs known to be efficacious according to its traditional medicine. GNS is seeking to delve into their experiences by constantly exploring these mysterious medicinal herbs.

Thailand, the Noble Value of Medicinal Herbs

Thailand has traditional folk remedies of treating illness with their indigenous medicinal herbs. We directly source these rare and precious herbs that are known to grow only in Thailand to study their various efficacies on the skin. Based on a database accumulated over a long period of time, we explore the usefulness of these new plants and find answers with GNS's own science.

Dee Atkinson

Medical Herbalist (NIMH), UK

Dee Atkinson started working as a Medical Herbalist. In 1990, she re-established the old herbal business, Napiers of Edinburgh, into one of the UK’s largest Complementary Medicine Clinic. Since 2013, she has concentrated on her clinical practice and set up her own traditional dispensary in Edinburgh, D.Atkinson Herbalist. She is a member of the National Institute of Medical Herbalists(NIMH) and has also worked as a Council member. Over the past 12 years, she has been actively involved in working towards the regulation of Herbal Practitioners and the regulation of the sale of herbal products.

Chanchal Cabrera

Registered Herbalist of American Herbalists Guild, Canada

Chanchal Cabrera obtained her Master degree in herbal medicine at the University of Wales in 2003 and has held the faculty chair in Botanical Medicine at the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine in New Westminster, Canada, since 2004. She serves on the board of advisors of Dominion Herbal College in Burnaby, on the editorial board of Medical Herbalism clinical newsletter and she publishes widely in professional journals and lectures internationally on medical herbalism, nutrition and health. She is a certified Master Gardener and a certified Horticulture Therapist. Currently, Chanchal and her husband run innisfree Farm on Vancouver Island, British Columbia.
