MultiCalm-RH is an extract from Rhododendron brachycarpum that is a broad-leaved evergreen shrub native to Korea and Japan. R. brachycarpum is commonly called short fruited azalea and “Manbyungcho” in Korean, which means ‘a herb effective for all kinds of diseases.’ It has been traditionally used in the treatment of diabetes mellitus, hypertension, headaches, and rheumatoid arthritis. Scientific studies reported that the main chemical components are flavonoids quercetin, quercitrin, avicularin, and hyperin, and this chemical composition indicates it may have potent anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Also, MultiCalm-RH has shown a skin-soothing effect on human skin through a clinical test.
