Coffea Arabica, also known as Coffee or Arabica coffee, is a species of the genus Coffea, and it is originally native to the Ethiopian highlands. The seeds of C. Arabica are called coffee beans, usually used to make coffee. Coffee contains over 1000 different plant compounds. Of them, coffee is rich in caffeine, caffeic acid, polyphenols, and chlorogenic acid. The polyphenols found in coffee would suggest the potential of C. arabica as an effective protector against photoaging. In a study, C. arabica extract oil helps reduce the strain on the immune system and manage the body`s allergic response. Also, another study found that coffee oil stimulates the production of collagen, elastin, and GAGs nearly two times compared to the control.
