Icy Smoothie Gel is a well-aging care solution protecting skin from oxidation and aging by relieving the skin heat. It contatins an emollient called stearyl heptanoate, which has a relatively low melting point at 25°C. As soon as it comes in contact with skin, it undergoes an endothermic reaction, changing its phase, just like xylitol, but it has a lower enthalpy, which enables faster phase change from solids to liquids, providing faster and strong cooling feeling.
