CPL-Gamtae an extract of Eckloniva cava produced through the CPL (ChloroPhyll-Less) technology. CPL is a technology to remove chlorophylls from plants and enhance the stability of plant extracts. By applying CPL technology, CPL-Gamtae contains higher content of total polyphenols and flavonoids compared to other extracts, and it also has anti-oxidant, anti-wrinkle and anti-allergic effects confirmed through in vitro studies.

Chlorophylls are the pigments existing in plants or seaweeds. Sometimes they make the color or pH unstable and cause some turbidity in plant extracts. So through this pre-treatment process, we can improve the stability of our products by removing chlorophylls. Changes in color and pH can be prevented, and the precipitation issue can be also improved. In many cases, chlorophyll holds active compounds, which make the active compounds to be extract.
