Oriental medicine researchers reported that the infinitesimal trace of ferrous ions could decrease antioxidants during the extraction. Therefore, we use glass containers for IR extraction to make it a metal-free method. The IR energy can transduce deep into the raw materials and extract the active ingredients during the extraction.
